3/26.- Ouessant, Lampaul

The island is 7 by 4 km large, and situated in the Atlantic. The main town (village, rather) of Ouessant is Lampaul, a small harbour town and the centre of the island's tourist trade. It sports a few restaurants and cafés and a couple of shops. But its harbour is too shallow, especially at low tide, to accommodate tourist traffic. So the boats dock at the other end of the island, at Le Stiff.
