"I Navigli" is the best place for live music, from jazz to rock and lots of pubs are there too. It is also a very characteristic area of Milano where art is in the air. For live music: "le Scimmie", "Il Grillo Parlnte". Brera (where the famous accademia of art is located) offers many different solutions as you can walk 'via dei Fiori Chiari' with market and forecasters near the most important showrooms of fashion. "Le Trottoir" offers good jazz music and "Lousiana" is a frantic bar with hip hop music and people from everywhere. I also suggest "Sould to Sould" (to dance), "il Tunnel" (for concerts) and 'Old Fashion" (to dance). Whoever likes concerts may find interesting ones at "Leoncavallo", "La Pergola" and "La Conchetta".
