25/29.- Milan, Calcio San Siro

One of Italy’s main activities is watching 'Calcio' --the local name for soccer. And Milan has two of the most powerful teams in Italy (and in the world!): Inter of Milan and AC Milan. They both play their games here: in 'San Siro'.

Italians claim they invented Soccer in the middle age. The game they played was named 'Calcio'. Apart from the fact that the game was played with a ball, there are not many similarities with actual soccer, the game looks more like American Football.
