7/29.- Milan, Duomo, back view

Next to the cathedral there is the Cathedral’s museum. A Museum that comprises the long history of the 'Duomo', with a great Lombard sculpture collection from the 14th to the 20th century. The Museums main works are: The early Gothic Nordic Giant, Giorgio Solari’s Saint George sculpture (a Renaissance work), some interesting 16th century works and the big Crespi’s Tempera (1628), among others.

We’ll now take a look at the square in front of the Cathedral’s main facade ... the 'Piazza Duomo'.
