Not far from Hagar Qim are the Mnajdra temple monuments. They were also used for animal sacrifices, burnt offerings, and ritual oracles.
Mnajdra is built with heavy, hard stone. The pillar stones are decorated with pitmarks.
Here you can see the entrance of a sanctuary believed to be used as an astronomical calendar due to the north west south east alignment of the temple.
