Malta, Maltese cats at Tarxien temples
And now I invite you to discover the Maltese archipelago through its
archeological sites,
the megalithic temples at Tarxien, Hagar Qim, Mnajdra and Ggantija.
The
Megalithic
Temples were built between 3800-2000 BC and are the earliest free standing
structures in the world.
The Maltese temple culture is testimony of the local genius of its
artists. They have
monumental proportions and a remarkable architectural design.
Here you can
see Maltese cats
at Tarxien; I filmed them because it seems that felines have a
natural fascination with ruins.
(I first noticed cats predilection for archeological sites, in Rome at the
Forum) Maybe there is a common
trait they share: cats and temples are always mysterious.
