10/39.- Mallorca, Porto Cristo

Porto Cristo is especially famous for its caves. The most famous of which are the "Coves dels Hams" and the "Coves del Drac" (which we’ll visit later). To get to Porto Cristo you have to go to Manacor and then follow the signs to Porto Cristo --it takes about 45 minutes to get here from the City of Palma de Mallorca.

Porto Cristo used to be the place were people from Manacor spent the Summer. Things have changed, and now it’s the Summer destination for people from all over Europe.
