4/39.- Mallorca, Cap de Formentor, "Es Colomar"

We are now going to the 'Cap de Formentor', from where you can see a spectacular view of this coast. Formentor is located on the North Coast of the island, on the 'Serra de Tramuntana'. 'Serra de Tramuntana' is a 100 km long mountain range that goes from 'sa Dragonera' Island to the 'Cap de Formentor'. The highest mountains in Mallorca are in the 'Serra de Tramuntana'. The highest of them is 'el Puig Major'(1435 m), which is also the highest point in the Balearic Islands. Another high peak is the Massanella (1352 m).
