39/46.- Madrid, Las Ventas Bull-ring

Bullfighting is a very popular tradition in Spain, especially in Madrid. I think it's a cruel tradition, but some consider it an Art.

If you want to see a 'Corrida', this is one of the two best bull-rings in Spain --the other one is 'La Maestranza', in Seville.

On San Isidro's day (the Patron Saint of Madrid, May the 15th) a Bullfighting festival takes place here. Some of the best 'Toreros' come to 'torear' in this Arena.
