In the picture you can see a detail of a building in Classical Madrid.

In 1492, after the marriage of Isabel and Fernando (The Catholic Monarchs), Spain became a Catholic domination. Short after the moors and Jews were expelled.

On the 12th of October of that year, Columbus discovered the New World (America). The Spanish Empire was born. In the 16th century the sun never set on the Spanish Empire.
