8/46.- Madrid, Thyssen Bornemisza Museum

Although, again, it is not allowed to take pictures inside the museum, I managed to take a picture of the paintings of the Thyssen Barons. The baroness, born in Barcelona, was the one that convinced his husband to sell his collection to the Spanish government.

In the Thyssen Bornemisza Museum you find a fantastic art collection ranging from the old masters to the 20th century major figures.

It is difficult to understand how these works of art could be part of a private collection! The museum hosts classical works by some of the best painters in history.
