40/43.- Lyon, Parc de la Tete d'Or 4

In this photo you can see part of the 40-acre lake. This lake sits in the middle of the park, and is one of the most beautiful ones I have ever seen. Its waters come from the main river in Lyon, the Rhône.

Other parts of the park that you should not miss are the Botanical Gardens and the zoo. The Botanical Garden is one of the richest in Europe. Plants lovers from all over the world come to Lyon to see the rare plant species that grow inside the garden's 21 meter high greenhouses.
