13/43.- Lyon, Roman theaters
Lyon's Gallo-Roman Theaters were built in times
of Emperor Augustus, around 17-15 BC. There is the
big theater, with 11,000 seats --the one in the
photo. And a smaller one, the Odeon; which some
experts say it used to be roofed. If you click on

Classical, rock and popular music performances
take place here during the summer season. Contact
the local tourist office for more information about
these shows.
