9/43.- Lyon, Basilica Notre-Dame, inside

In this photo you can see part of the interior of the basilica. It seems they did not know what to do with gold when it was built, because from floor to ceiling, you can find gilded decorations everywhere in this basilica.

This beautiful church draws tourists from all over the world, making of this landmark the second most visited monument in France.
