The "Aqueduto das
Águas Livres " was constructed between 1731 and
1748 during Portugals second golden Age. The
Aqueduct has 35 arches, the highest of which measures 66
meters. It was the main water supply system for Lisbon and just for you to imagine it's sheer size, it spans for more than 50 Kms outside Lisbon
