24/25.- Bologna, City Gate

In Piazza XX Settembre lies the city's North Gate. Next to it is the bus station, where coaches to different towns in the region depart from.

North from here is Bologna's train station, with trains to Italy's main destinations: Florence (1 h), Milan (2h), Venice (2h) and Rome (2,5 h). Thanks to its good location, the city is also very well connected by road.

Bologna has an international airport, Marconi (BLQ), with flights to many Italian and European destinations.
