10/20.- St. Stephen, Meteora, Greece

In addition, as you can see, the grounds of St. Stephen are quite attractive. In theory, it's possible to walk (or bike) between the various monasteries here, but that's a pretty hefty hike. It's a lot better, particularly if it's hot, to be able to go via car. If you don't have your own vehicle it's possible to hire a taxi in Kalambaka by the hour (which is what I did).
