4/24.- Athenian Treasury, Delphi, Greece

The Sacred Way then winds its way up past numerous ruins of treasury houses, set up by each Greek city-state to show off their power and wealth by, in part, housing their various offerings to Apollo.

The partially restored Athenian Treasury, seen here, is perhaps the most impressive of the treasury house ruins.
