35/45.- Athens, National Archeological Museum, Black-figure Calyx Crater

Several galleries of the museum are devoted to Greek pottery, and its development over the centuries. It's pretty impressive stuff, as this example from the 6th century BCE shows, though personally, after the third or fourth room full of jugs I was about ready to move on to something else.
