7/45.- Athens, Agora Museum, Voting shards

One of the most interesting displays in the Agora Museum is this one of ancient voting shards. But in ancient Athens, this vote was not to elect a leader, rather it was to select which citizen would be "ostracized," i.e., exiled from Athens for a period of 10 years. Fascinating stuff!
