25/26.- Excursions from Glasgow. Portsonachan Loch Awe

Portsonachan is an ideal base for visiting Oban, the Isle of Seil, and Inverary, but you do need a car to get around.

Look out for strays cows, too, as you manipulate the winding road. On the north side of the loch you'll find the Cruachan hydro-electric Power Station, well worth a visit.
