Buchanan Street is an exciting and busy thoroughfare. The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall is located here. The steps you see are a favorite spot to munch on lunch. The 9 foot bronze statue is of the late Donald Dewar, Scotland’s first First Minister. After devolution was granted , Donald Dewar was named First Minister of Scotland’s Parliament. My oh my, patience has its rewards. Who would have imagined that we’d ever have our own Parliament?
