35/50.- Munich, Leopoldstrasse, Sieges Tor

At the other end of Ludwigstrasee is the Siegestor, or the city's Triumphal Arch, commissioned by Ludwig I in 1852. After the arch, Ludwigstrasee boulevard changes its name and becomes Leopoldstrasse.

Munich is a city that can be conveniently visited on foot and on public transport. If you are on a tight schedule, you may want to take the sightseeing bus, which will take you on a guided tour around the city.
