42/42.-
Geneva, by night
Well my friend this Photographic Tour has come to its end. I hope
you have enjoyed it.
Before I leave let me talk about one thing that took place
here in Geneva that changed our lives. I am talking about
the birth of the World Wide Web. Yes, we can say that the
Internet was born in a scientific center 10 km from Geneva,
the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN). More
than 10,000 people work in this scientific center to investigate
particle physics. If you want to know what some of the brightest
brains in our world are doing, visit the center. Not convinced?
What if I tell you that people who work here have won more
than 40 Nobel prices?
Well, my friend I hope the information I provided on these
pages was useful. And remember next time you surf the web:
it all started here!!!
