3/42.- Geneva, ''Jardin Anglais" Fountain
Also in the "Jardin Anglais" you can see this nice
bronze fountain. It dates from 1862 and is a work of the French
artist, Alexis Andre.
Almost all of Geneva can be visited on foot. You will only
need to take a bus or a tramway to visit some of its landmarks.
The UNO, the "Palais des Nations", the Ariana Museum,
and the "Jardin Botanique" sit quite far from downtown.
I recommend buying a one day public transportation ticket--
there is also a two day ticket available. I also recommend taking
one of the boat tours along the Lake Geneva. To get a better
idea of the Lake area by land, take one of public buses that
run along the lake.
