6/43.- Florence, The Duomo, dome (outside)

This huge dome is more than 500 years old, and still is the third biggest cathedral dome of our time --only St. Peter in Rome and St. Paul in London are bigger. If you want, you can climb to the top, from where you can enjoy a wonderful view of this city.

Well, I think you already know this cathedral well enough. We will visit other monuments in this wonderful city. Our next visit will be the Palazzo Vecchio, not far from here..
