15/29.- Flanders: Antwerp, Rubens Statue

Antwerp is also the town where Peter Paul Rubens, the great Belgian painter, lived and worked in the 16th-17th century. Another famous Antverpian is Christopher Plantin, who opened one of the first printing shops and worked for Spanish king Philip II. Near the Antwerp Central Station one can find the famous damonds shops as well as the popular Antwerp Zoo.
