Figueres is also a good day trip for tourists spending their holidays in the Costa Brava. Sarfa Bus Company has daily buses to Figueres form the main beach towns in Costa Brava: Roses, Begur, Cadaques, Castelló d'Empúries, El Port de la Selva, La Bisbal, La Escala, L'Estartit, Llançà, Pals, Palamòs, Platja d'Aro, among many others.

The nearest airport is Girona Costa Brava, from where you can get to Figueres by public bus. Ryanair has many flights to this airport from several European cities.
