Europe is a continent with plenty of interesting countries from a tourist point of view. On the following pages you will find travel guides in several European countries.

France

Spain

Spain, with its variety of landscapes, cultures and languages, is one of the world's top tourist destinations. Cosmopolitan cities, beach destinations and historical sites, make of Spain a prefect place to travel.

Catalonia - Barcelona

Barcelona is currently one of the world's top tourist destinations. If you are planning a trip to Barcelona, you should consider visiting other destinations in the area. On the follwoing pages I give you some ideas.

Portugal

Portugal is one of the most beautiful countries in Europe. Its main tourist destinations are Lisbon, Porto and Braga.

Belgium

Belgium is a country split in two by a language boundary. In Flanders, north of this boundary, Flemish is spoken -- a variety of Dutch with many regional variants. South of the border, in the Walloon region, people speak a Belgian variety of French, also with many local dialects. The national capital, Brussels, is enclaved within the Flemish region.

 

Netherland

Netherlands is a Constitutional Monarchy in Western Europe. The country may be divided in four regions: West, South, North and East.

 

Germany

Currently we have only have a virtual tour of a city in Bayern, Munich. Bayern is, probably, the most beautiful region in Germany, and definitely the one that attracts more visitors.

 

Czechia

Czechia is one of the most beautiful countries in Central Europe. The highlight of the country is its capital, Prague, but there are many other reasons to visit Czechia ...

 

Austria - Vienna

Vienna is the capital of Austria. It is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. In Vienna you can admire the imperial architecture, and visit the places that influenced some of the most famous classical musicians: Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Strauss, Brahms, etc.

 

Bratislava - Slovakia

Bratislava is the capital of the Slovak Republic, a new State, fruit of the division of the former Czechoslovak Republic. Since then, Bratislava has been the business, cultural and political center of this nation in the center of Europe.

Budapest - Hungary

Budapest, the capital of Hungary, is a cosmopolitan city and one of Europe’s most important capitals. It used to be the second capital of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. After many decades of communism the city is recovering its lost splendor.

Geneva - Switzerland

York - England

Kilkenny - Ireland

Located on the Nore River, Kilkenny is a pleasant 1.5 to 2 hour drive (73 miles) from Dublin. Kilkenny has a history that goes back to the 6th century when it was founded by St. Canice as a monastic settlement. 

Warsaw - Poland

Warsaw, the capital of Poland, is one of the largest city in central Europe. It’s has lots to offer to visitors, but, on the contrary to Prague, Paris or London, it has not been invaded by thousands of tourists yet, so you’d better hurry up and see it now.

Romania

Romania is a country located between Central and Eastern Europe that lately it is attracting many tourists thanks to its cultural heritage, its history and its beach resorts.

Malta

At the very heart of the Mediterranean, the Maltese islands boast 7000 years of history in which cultures and languages blended to create a unique tourist attraction.

Turkey

Turkey is a country in the middle east region. It has always played a major role in the exchange of goods, languages, religions and ideas between Asia and Europe. Today most of Turkey's population is Muslim. Turkey is a tolerant and respectful with other religions, though.

Greece

Greece, cradle of Western civilization, is one of the top tourist destinations in Europe. The main tourist destinations in Greece are its capital, Athens, and its islands.
