
At Marseillan, it is possible to sail from the Bassin de Thau into the Mediterranean through an opening called Grau. The Marseillan restaurants, then, offer both fish from the sea and shellfish from the Etang de Thau. Some of the menus offer such a wide choice that the visitor is confronted with "l'embarras du choix", as the French phrase goes -- the frustration of having to choose.
