8/36.- Cordoba, Mosque/Cathedral Arches

The Cathedral is a mixture of styles. You can see Greco-Roman, Egyptian and Visigothic influences.

In the 9th century, Cordoba underwent a period of expansion, and under the rule of Abd al-Rahman II, seven more naves were added to the mosque.
