Mosque/Cathedral Tower
Bishop Martín Fernández de Angulo (16th Century)
entrusted Hernan Ruiz the remodeling of the original work of
Abd al-Rahman III.
Crossing the main entrance door, you get to this courtyard,
where you can see Palm Trees (planted in the 13th Century),
Orange Trees (15th century), Olive Trees and Cypresses (18th
century).
The construction of
the current tower began in the 16th century (over the
Islamic Minaret) and was finished in the 17th
century.
Now, well
enter the Temple.
