9/25.- Chambord, the Royal Bedchamber

Although it was Francis I who decided to move the Royal bedchamber to the west wing of the castle, he did never sleep here. He died some years before the works were completed. The original bedchamber took up all the west wing, but in the 17th century it was split in two smaller halls. The rest of the rooms in the first floor are the 18th century rooms and the Count of Chambord's museum.
