Hi. Welcome to the Campania region of Italy. In this tour you’ll get a good introduction to Sorrento, Capri, the ruins of Pompeii, Amalfi and Positano. There are so many places to visit that it’s quite impossible to do the whole area justice in just one tour. Indeed neither is one visit sufficient to see and do everything you’d like to. Good excuse for returning! The region is so beautiful, so full of history, so enticing, that I can’t wait to return and revisit the places in this tour, plus others that I didn’t have time to go to. Ready?

We will start this Photographic Tour in Sorrento. Immediately below you can see the Marina Grande which is a small fishing village. Farther out you can see the Marina Piccola where you can catch a ferry or hydrofoil to places such as Capri and Ischia. Sorrento is a good base from which to explore the surrounding area. You can arrive here by the local train which slowly meanders its way down the coast. Many package tour companies yank in the crowds too, so beware of the busy summer months.
