35/37.- Camaret, Biniou

On festive market days in Crozon (the center of the Crozon peninsula), there will be musicians playing traditional Breton tunes. The group contains binious (Breton bagpipes, as shown here), bombardes (small oboe-like instruments, to be shown in the next picture) and drums. The musicians are clad in traditional feast garments, mostly black festooned with colorful embroidery.
