6/37.- Camaret, The Harbor
The village still looks very much like a harbor. But over the years most of the colorful sailors' houses have been transformed into cafés, shops, seafood restaurants and crèperies - places which serve thin, dark pancakes filled with sweet or savory foods. The Breton beverage to be drunk with these is apple cider. The village has operated a rather successful transformation from fishery to tourism.
The ship moored at the quayside is the Belle Etoile, which was discussed in the previous picture.
