5/37.- Camaret, The Belle Etoile

On the jetty, among the shipyards and wharves, stands a small cabin where one can see the tools and instruments of the once famous Camaret shipbuilders. In recent times, they have built a model of a Camaret fishing-boat, the Belle Etoile, to participate in some major sailing events which took place in Brittany (Brest 96, Douarnenez 96, Brest 2000, ...) and elsewhere along the Atlantic coast. The boat, a beautiful piece of traditional craftmanship, can now be hired by tourists and parties.
