37/43.- Cadaques, Vela Llatina boat

Next to the Llane Gran (Big Llane) there's a smaller beach called the Llane Petit (Small Llane). This is not a nice beach, but there's a nice view from here.

The boat you see is a traditional "Vela Llatina" (Latin Sail) boat. The Latin Sail is the typical sail in the Mediterranean sea, and has more than 2000 years of history. Since 1988 a "Vela Llatina" meeting takes place on the waters of Cadaques (the first week of September), a unique occasion to see many of these sails.
