29/43.- Cadaques, Cap de Creus - Cala Culip

In this photo you can see one of the most beautiful beaches in the Cap de Creus area: Cala Culip. "Cala" is the name used for a small beach. There are many other beautiful calas in Cap de Creus.

The people of Cadaques took advantage of the location of the village (close to the French border), the quantity of small beaches and the difficulty to control this coast to smuggle. Smuggling has been an income source for many locals.
