27/43.- Cadaques, Cap de Creus - rocks

Can you see the holes on the rock? They are a work of the "Tramuntana". Tramuntana is a strong wind that blows in this region. This strong wind can blow at more than 100 km per hour. It is powerful enough to carve the rocks; and people's characters. People in this region (Alt Emporda), and especially in Cadaques, are known for their eccentricities, they say it is the result of this wind.

I can tell you that after three or more days of Tramuntana everyone notices its effect.
