9/43.- Cadaques, "Es Call" street

After the visit to the church, we will walk downhill along the "Carrer des Call" in the direction of the town's main square.

Cadaqués first tourists came in the 1960’s and 1970’s, most of them were Catalan and French Bohemians, artists and intellectuals. Things have changed a lot since then, although artists and bohemians still visit Cadaques, most of the permanent visitors belong to the Catalan haute bourgeoisie. Today Cadaques is one of the most expensive resort towns on the "Costa Brava".
