7/43.- Cadaques, "Santa Maria" Church

I love this church!! The Santa Maria Church (= Saint Mary) was constructed from the 16th through the 17th centuries.

Most probably you have seen this church on a picture before. I think it is one of the most frequently painted churches in the world. Some of the best painters of all times (Picasso among them) and thousands of amateur painters couldn't resist the temptation to paint a picture in Cadaques.
