4/50.- Brussels, The Town Hall Square

The Town Hall Square is surrounded by the houses of the various Corporations, Guilds and Trades, many of them with gilt decorations on their façades. The lion in the foreground guards the staircase to the town hall, which leads to its richly decorated wedding hall. Newlyweds like to have their picture taken here.
