Brno, as almost all other cities in the former East Bloc, has an excellent public transport net. Brno’s historic center is small enough to be visited on foot, but if you want to visit some of the more distant points, you can buy a 30-60 minute ticket or a 1-3 days ticket. The prices are really low.
