12/39.- Brno, Petrska Street

Behind the column you can see the spires of the Cathedral. At out left we have the Dietrichstein Palace, built in 1614-1620, where the commander in chief of the Russian troops stayed during the battle of Austerlitz (1805). A museum opened its doors in this building in 1915, with exhibitions of Extinct Flora and Fauna of Moravia, Minerals and a Moravian history Museum.
