8/39.- Brno, terrace

In this photo you can see a nice terrace, the Old town Hall tower and, between them, part of the Zelny Trh.

In the 20th century Brno has been administered by the Germans (before 1918), has been part of the Czechoslovak Republic (1918-199), has been occupied by the German Nazi troops (1939-45), has been part of the Socialist Czechoslovak Republic (1945-1992) and finally has become part of the new formed Czech Republic State. Too many changes of nationality for just 100 years, don't you think?
