3/43.- Braga, "Santuario do Bom Jesus do Monte" Elevator

To get to the Sanctuary you can walk the stairway or take this elevator. You’d better take the elevator to get to the top and then go back down walking.

The sanctuary stands 400 meters above the sea level. Form here visitors have a nice view of the region --from the Serra de Geres and Serra do Soajo to the beaches of Esposende and Viana do Castelo.
