14/30.- Bilbao, "Basílica de Begoña"

The construction of this church began in the 16th century and was finished in 1620. The building was reconstructed in the 19th century after the Spanish "Carlistas" wars. Its reconstruction follows the original Gothic style.

"Begoña" is the patron saint of Bizakaia (the province where Bilbao sits). Let’s visit another church ...
