35/35.- Avignon, Porte de la Republique
This was a nice tour of one of the most
beautiful towns in old France. I hope you enjoyed
it, and that you found here everything you needed
to prepare your travel. And remember that a virtual
travel is all right, but nothing can compare to the
real thing.
If you ever come here and have some days left,
don't miss some of the interesting nearby villages:
Villeneuve, Les Angles, Nimes, Arles, the Camargue,
Aix-en-Provence ... Wow, the list is almost
endless!
One of the things that makes this region so
especial, is its exceptional weather. Even in
winter -December, January and February- the
temperature does not go below 6-7 C (43 F) degrees.
The best temperature is from May to September, with
average temperatures between 17 C (63 F) and 24 C
(75 F) degrees. Rainy days are not exceptional
throughout the year, but September and October are
definitely the ones to be avoided if you do not
like heavy showers.
Well my friend this is it, this Photographic Tour
came to its end. I hope you enjoyed it. If you want
