28/35.- Villeneuve Lez Avignon, Église Saint-Pons

This is the Église Saint-Pons. To get here, you have to walk to the city parking lot -where the tourist office sits-, turn left and walk a few yards Rue Fabrigoule along. Not far from here is one interesting museums, The Museum Pierre de Luxembourg.

This Museum holds a collection of medieval art: the Crowning of the Virgin by Enguerrand Quarton and the Ivory Virgin, among others. There is also an interesting collection of 16th-17th century Provençal painting.

Close form here sits the Collégiale church Notre Dame. We have to take the street at the left and walk a couple of minutes.
